Welcome to Le Refuge Chez Ducrot—The continuation of our founding vision.

When we created Chez Ducrot, we aimed for an atmosphere of warmth and conviviality. Our diners retreat from the stress of the day, break bread together, and enjoy a refuge from the busy-ness of life. They relax, recharge, and reconnect.

Le Refuge offers programs to find the refuge within all of us. One day, these programs will be presented in a rural setting where nature’s beauty can enhance the process . For the present, we bring the programs to you…

CURRENT PROGRAMS

FAMILY TABLE BLOG Family Table is where we gather and one of the ways we create refuge – through connection. The Family Table blog is a place where you may share inspiration & resources that help grow your own family table.

FAMILY TABLE AT THE CASTLE AT HIGHPOINT The Family Table™ program at The Castle is a full participation cooking “class” created by Dr. Joseph Shrand of the Castle at Highpoint and Chez Ducrot. Each week we lead a culinary experience where teens from CASTLE participate in all aspects of preparing a meal that is then shared by the group. The goal of the experience is to establish rapport and nurture respect among group members. When this foundation is established through simple food preparation activities and conversation, then the magic happens.
